First Site Realty, LLC was initiated in February, 2002 by Michael Metersky as a limited service commercial real estate brokerage.
Since, 2002, First Site Realty has grown and maintained a client base of local, regional and national accounts that emphasizes customer service and market knowledge. With over 17 years experience in the Real Estate Industry and an additional 10 years experience in commercial insurance and risk management within the electric utility and insurance industry, Michael Metersky is well equipped to handle any of your firm’s commercial Real Estate, Auction or management requirements. He is a true problem solver and is able to develop real world solutions in a highly technical environment. His ability to communicate at all levels within an organization allows him to develop supported recommendations and execute the client’s directives with precision to affect the most favorable outcome possible.
After completing his undergraduate work at The Ohio State University with a major in Finance, Michael completed his MBA at Capital University in Bexley Ohio while working at American Electric Power. During this period he earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation by the Insurance Institute of America.
In 1995, Michael began his career in the Real Estate industry as a Sales Associate with Wears Kahn, McMenamy. In 1998 he joined Dickson Hughes Group and eventually became the Managing Broker of the Columbus, Ohio office. During this time he achieved the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute.
In 2002, Michael originated First Site Realty as a Real Estate Firm specializing in commercial sales and leasing. He has continued to develop and service local, regional and national clients with an emphasis on sales and leasing of retail, office, industrial and investment property. Michael has worked since 2010 in the Auction industry with a goal of becoming an Ohio licensed Auctioneer and was successful in gaining that license in 2013.
Michael has served on various committees with the Columbus Board of Realtors, CCIIR and the Ohio CCIM Chapter. In 2006 he served as the Ohio CCIN Chapter President and has served on national committees with that group.
Outside of Real Estate, Michael is active with the Charity Newsies Organization and Boy Scouts of America. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hiking, backpacking, mountain and road biking in his spare time.
